Young Barred Owl getting close to branching! This little guy has been very curious about it's surrounding outside of the nest. He is always watching Mom and Dad who are just a few feet away in the surrounding trees. Anyday, he will branch high up in the nest tree.

Great Egret with beautiful mating colors. This bright green around their eyes are displayed during Spring mating and nesting season.

Spring is my favorite time of year. I never grow tired of seeing and photographing wildlife this time of year. The birds and wildlife are active and the trees and flowers are blooming. This is a Female Barred Owl that nests near my home.
